Join the HealthierUS School Challenge Smarter Lunchrooms Program
The U.S. Department of Agriculture presented Beech Street School in Manchester with a silver HealthierUS School Challenge: Smarter Lunchrooms award. Beech Street joins an elite group of schools across the country recognized for excellence in their integration of health, nutrition and fitness education. According to the USDA website, roughly 7 percent of the nation’s schools have achieved bronze, silver, gold, or gold of distinction HealthierUS status.
