Founded in 2019, The School Gourmet provides food service management for charter, independent, and private schools, as well as afterschool and summer food programs, senior care centers, and childcare centers throughout Georgia. It serves more charter schools in the state than any other Food Service Management Company, and is the exclusive food service provider for both the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta and the YMCA of Metro Atlanta, currently serving 31 locations through their afterschool, summer, and child nutrition programs.
The School Gourmet offers three service models — On-Campus Cooking, Ready-to-Serve Meal Service, and Delivered Meals — allowing schools to change service levels as their needs evolve without switching vendors or issuing a new RFP. Menus are prepared using fresh ingredients, with an emphasis on scratch cooking and minimal use of processed foods.
