Lunch Bunch believes in including kids and communities in the process of how food is made and where it comes from.
Lunch Bunch was born from the idea that great food and nutrition should be accessible to all. It believes that to tackle childhood obesity and malnutrition, kids must understand the why behind health & nutrition. By teaching students about healthy eating and involving them in food preparation, it increases their understanding & preference for nutritious options.
Building upon nutrition and culinary education, it then provides better-for-you options available in the K–12 food space. Through its K–12 food products and culinary based enrichments, it aims to create a more holistic experience of food; where it comes from, how it impacts our environment, how it connects different communities and ultimately how we can create a healthy and joyful relationship to food.g community.
