Jerry Cervantes
Jerry Cervantes is the Director of Strategic Planning at SFWG, where he supports the organization’s growth by scaling internal operations, developing new services for clients, and building partnerships with like-minded organizations. Since joining in 2021, he has also led the marketing team and helped create value-added services that make a real difference for schools.
What Jerry loves most about his role is being part of a team that is reshaping what consulting looks like in the child nutrition space. He’s especially passionate about helping schools move beyond compliance to see the bigger picture of their meal programs and discover new ways to serve students.
Before joining SFWG, Jerry worked for a food service management company, where he once made an emergency delivery of meals for over 600 students on the New York City subway — and still managed to make it in time for lunch service.
Outside of work, Jerry enjoys travel photography, collecting vinyl records, growing his library of art and architecture books, and spending time with his two pitbulls, Captain and Meeka.
