Jenna Foster
Jenna Foster is a Client Manager at SFWG, supporting programs across the Midwest and South-Central regions. She began her career in school nutrition as a FoodCorps AmeriCorps member in 2019, later managing NSLP operations across more than 20 schools in Chicago. Since joining SFWG in 2021, she has focused on helping schools navigate everything from regulatory guidance and procurement to administrative reviews and training.
What Jenna loves most about her work is visiting school kitchens that radiate energy and warmth. She describes her favorite moments as walking into a cafeteria at 7:00 a.m. with music blasting, colorful bulletin boards displaying menus and fun facts, and staff who know every student’s name, allergy, and preference as they pass through the line. Those moments are what make school food so special.
In her spare time, Jenna enjoys cooking (and collecting cookbooks!), reading, long-distance running, and spending time with her Great Pyrenees pup.
