Debbie Marks, M.Ed.
Debbie Marks is a Client Manager and member of the Special Projects team at SFWG, supporting School Food Authorities across the Chicago area. She brings a background as a biology teacher and charter school operations manager, giving her a unique perspective on the needs of schools and students.
Debbie enjoys helping schools create meal programs that are both compliant and meaningful for their communities. One of her favorite school food memories is from childhood — she used to mark the lunch calendar with stars for the days she’d buy school lunch instead of bringing one from home. Turkey gravy with mashed potatoes was always her favorite.
She lives in Chicago, where she loves spending time with her family, walking her dogs, and discovering new restaurants.
