Assata Hatch
Assata Hatch is a Client Manager at SFWG, where she supports schools in operating compliant, efficient, and impactful meal programs. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, she brings more than seven years of experience as a Director of Operations in local charter and private schools. In that role, she oversaw school nutrition programs and discovered her passion for ensuring students have access to both quality education and nutritious meals.
Assata is excited to continue supporting schools through her work at SFWG, helping them strengthen their operations and deliver exceptional service to students each day. One of her favorite school food memories is from elementary school — the excitement of getting a Strawberry Crunch ice cream bar on Fridays. It’s a small but sweet reminder of how much joy school meals can bring to a child’s day.
Outside of work, Assata enjoys dancing, reading, and spending time outdoors.
