Founded in 2008, Butter Beans provides nutritional, wholesome meals for charter schools, private schools, and summer camps throughout the New York tri-state area. In addition, Butter Beans operates the cafeteria at the New York Hall of Science Museum in Queens, NY - a large interactive science center for students, teachers, and families. The company also manages the corporate cafeteria for UNICEF - an international organization working in over 190 countries and territories to save children’s lives, to defend their rights, and to help them fulfill their potential. Along with our food services, Butter Beans leads wellness and food education programs to help students build critical connections between food, health, and sustainability.Butter Beans maintains a Director of Community & Nutrition as part of our leadership team, who provides children and parents with nutritional support. This includes supporting individual dietary needs, such as food allergies and dietary restrictions.
